The PCSO is investigating a fatal hit & run crash at Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven.
It was dispatched at about 2:29 a.m. on February 17, 2025.
North and southbound Spirit Lake Road were closed down, but reopened at about 5:43 a.m.
Most if not all units should be clear from the scene at the time of publication, so there are no traffic issues there now.
This is a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian hit and run crash.
At this time, PCSO does not have a description of the vehicle.
