A traffic accident has occurred around 2:23 p.m. on Hwy 60 near Alturas Road in Bartow. The roadway was shut down for about an hour and cars have been rerouted to Logistics Pkwy.
As of 3:10 according to PCSO Information Officer Carrie Horstman, the road is back open, but there are still backups. Please drive with caution.
We will update this article as we get confirmation from PCFR on injuries.
